REJOICE! THE BOOKS HAVE ARRIVED AND SHIPPING HAS ALREADY BEGUN!

I have seen the Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcovers, and they are gorgeous, friends! They say a picture is worth a thousand words... so how many words is a video worth?

And since I know a lot of you will be asking, yes, you will be getting email notifications when your packages ship!

I know I say it a lot, but let me say it once more right now, friends: THANK YOU for your patience as we've waited to get these books in our possession -- and out to you.

Keep an eye on your email for your shipping notification, and your mailboxes!

The truck appoaches... and everything else is waiting!

Hello everyone!

I hope this update finds you doing well!

In the last update I was able to let you all know that the Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover books were *FINALLY* off the boat and getting on the road. Well, I spoke to Source Point Press yesterday and got an exciting update: After a brief delay, the tracking is currently showing an arrival date of 1/26 (Wednesday next week) to the SPP warehouse!

Huzzah!

In the meantime, the TPB versions are starting to arrive (also much delayed) to Amazon and local comic shops, so don't be surprised -- and don't panic -- if you start to see a few people getting the TPB editions "in the wild," as most of you here are getting the Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover Edition with all the bonus swag which is already at the warehouse.

Seriously, I was just there the other week and saw everything with my own eyes:

Once the books arrive all of these bonuses will be packed-up with each Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover and begin being shipped out! I assure you, we are just as excited and anxious for you to get this amazing book (if I do say so myself) and all the amazing Stretch Goal bonuses you all unlocked -- as you are!

All of that being said, obviously when we launched this campaign we had no idea that the supply chain delays would be this major, so we most sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we've waited for these books to arrive. We know we are not alone in this issue, but we appreciate your patience nonetheless... so again... THANK YOU!

My anticipation is that the next update you receive will be photos of all the hardcovers at the warehouse... so watch this space, everyone!

Rejoice! The books are on dry land!

I don't know if this is a holiday miracle, but it's close!

Hey all!

First and foremost, again, I want to reiterate how much we have appreciated your patience as we all have waited for the Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover Editions of BUTTS IN SEATS to finally be unloaded from the boat at the Port of L.A.

To that end, I have good news, directly delivered from our publisher Source Point Press yesterday night! Check it out:

"{The boat] FINALLY docked, unloaded, and the  ocean container reached the California warehouse. Today/tomorrow they should be divvying up pallets... Hopefully should get ETAs based on the trucking arrangement in a few days... [hardcovers will] likely will be here around the  end of the month, I hope."

YOU READ THAT RIGHT! REJOICE! THE BOOKS ARE NOW ON DRY LAND!!!

As you can see, it's our hope that the books will be at the SPP warehouse (which is in Michigan) by the end of the month, which means we're LITERALLY in the home stretch now!

Everything else is waiting at the warehouse already, too.

This means once the books get to the warehouse, distribution can (and will) start taking place right away, friends. We are very, very proud of what we've all accomplished here, and I assure you, we want you to have these books as much as we want you to have them.

In the meantime, please be aware that the books intended for comic shops were also on the boat, so it's possible that comic shops (and Amazon) will be getting their orders around the same time SPP will at THEIR warehouse, so don't panic if you see the TPB at comic shops or book stores. They'll be getting theirs right around the same time SPP gets theirs (ours) since EVERYONE'S orders are late.

While we wanted you to have your hardcover editions before the trade paperback editions of the books hit comic shops and book stores, the "COVID cruise" had other plans for us all, but, again, the books are on land, and en route to the warehouse, so let's cross our fingers that I'll be able to get you another update (with pictures of the books at the warehouse) before the end of the year, yeah?

MANY UPDATES HEREIN!

Hey all! We have SEVERAL updates for you, so I'm going to get right to them! Give this all a read, please! Trust me, you'll be happy you did...

DIGITAL PDFs!

This is a reminder that digital PDFs of BUTTS IN SEATS were delivered to people who ordered them... but only to those of you who ordered a PDF. Ordered PDFs are available for download through your BackerKit. If you ordered a PDF and it's not there please send a Direct Message and Source Point Press will assist you... just give us a few days or so to respond, as we have some major convention appearances over the next two weeks.  More on that in a moment... but first...

SHIPPING UPDATE!

As of this morning the Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcovers (and most of the mass market trade paperbacks intended for comic shops, book stores, and Amazon) are still sitting at the port, waiting to be unloaded as part of the massive supply chain delays everyone is experiencing.

The good news, of course, is that they're there, at least, and once they get on dry land they're be headed right to Source Point Press headquarters so they can then be packed with all your extras and sent right to you! As it stands right now, we are still projecting a December delivery process, but please understand that we can only ship the books once we get them from the port and that we're monitoring the situation closely. Once we get them, we'll be sending them to all of you, as everything else is printed and ready to go, including...

LOOK AT ALL THESE BOOKPLATES!

Every Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover comes with, among all the other Stretch Goal upgrades, a Kickstarter Exclusive Bookplate signed by me, bookplate artist Josh Werner, and Tony himself. The bookplates arrived last week (the final bonus item to arrive), and I recently finished signing all approximately 2,500 of them:

Friends, that is A LOT of bookplates, but for as long as it took, I gotta tell ya', I was so happy signing each and every one of them for you. They're on their way to Tony now, who's also excited to sign them all for you as well. I send him a pack of the markers with the bookplates, too, so he can get right to it. What can I say? I'm a swell guy like that. Ha!

SOME VARIED SIGNING APPEARANCES (AND A PANEL) YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS...

This week I'll be a guest in Artist Alley at Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle from Thursday to Sunday, so if you're in the area and want to attend the con, I'd love it if you'd be willing to come out and say "Hello!" at Table S-1. In the meantime, Tony will be doing a special signing at Infinite Realities comic shop in Tucker, Georgia this Saturday, December 4th starting at 11AM! Get a hold of the store if you want more details and would like to go see Tony at his first-ever comic shop signing appearance for BUTTS IN SEATS! 

Then, next week, from December 10-12 both Tony and I will be guests at C2E2 in Chicago! I'll be at Artist Alley Table H-8 (as in "Hate!") while Tony will be with all the other famous people... but wait, there's more!

That's right, friends! We're doing a BUTTS IN SEATS panel as well! Here's the details:

Digital Copies of BUTTS IN SEATS have been delivered!

Hey all!

Those of you whose pledges included access to a digital PDF of BUTTS IN SEATS should have recieved an email with a BackerKit linkn to your digital copy of  the full book! I've been in touch with Source Point Press, and we hope to have news on the Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover editions of the books being unloaded from their "COVID Cruise" very soon (kudos to those of you who brought that term to my attention), which means they'll then be shipped to the warehouse so we can pack them up with all the other bonus swag and start shipping them out!
